About The Little River Lure Lady
Hi, I’m Zena Quattlebaum, also known as the Little River Lure Lady on Lake Murray, SC. My grandfather, L.C. Quattlebaum, owned and operated Little River Lures on Lake Murray for over 20 years. During that time, he not only built a trusted name in tackle but also brought the community together by hosting fishing tournaments for both local anglers and kids.
Growing up, I spent time learning some of his tried-and-true techniques, which I now incorporate into my own lure designs. In 2024, I decided to blend my lifelong love of art with my family’s legacy of tackle making—and that’s how Little River Lure Lady was born.
I use Mustad hooks and finish each lure with a double coat of scratch-resistant clear coat for durability. As for the other secret methods I use I won’t tell but you will reap all the benefits when fishing with Little River Lure Lady hand tied jigs & custom painted lures. 😉
